Angela Akins Garcia actually lived an unnoticed life before she was married to the famous sports player. It is the reason why there are few details regarding her past. Though it has been established that she was born in 1985, the exact month and day she was born is not known to the press. Angela Akins Gracia had a passion for sports from the time when she was just a child and decided to take up golf. Then, she took several lessons on how to play golf, learning the techniques needed to make a strong yet calm swing. Through the years she increased her experiences. While in highschool, she won 8 tournaments. Garcia was the Mable Falls golf team captain in 2003. She steered them to third in the regional championship and they came in sixth in 2006. She has won more than 17 medals at national competitions, and is a member to the Ladies Texas Golf Association. After graduating from highschool, Garcia attended Texas Christain University for a number of years. She later transferred to the University of Texas. Once she enrolled at Texas Christain, she was introduced to a competitive setting that made it easier for her to improve her golfing skills. Angela Akin Garcia chose journalism rather than golf despite experiencing happiness and fulfillment in her playing. She landed her first job after graduation as a Fox Sports Southwest Reporter.
